Literature Text

Alice look around you

And tell me what you see

The ruined world of wonderland

Lying crumbled at your feet

Time has flown

Hasn’t it?

Past all of the unknown

The lifetime lifted from your eyes

Crumbled civilizations

Laying at your feet

You can count them all

Each one so neat

Oh…wait…

You’re not Alice.

I’m sorry

For all of that malice

You see, I have been waiting

For Alice to return

So that she can get

What she deserves

She abandoned us

Here

To crumble and waste away

As most have already done.

The world around you is wasting away

Only time can tell

But time is too decaying

You can’t be late

Oh if only...Alice

If only you could have stayed

The White Queen and the Queen of Hearts went to war

Both perished, pushing our world into chaos

But, since you are here

Why don’t you come with me

And see why

Someone who leaves Wonderland after a powerful war

Is ne’er able to return.

*creepy evil singy songy voices much like those of Elmur Fudd when he sings about killing the rabbit*

Kill the Rabbit

Kill the Rabbit

This is a poem that I wrote after playing the Alice is Dead series. I also referenced several other things, like the original Alice in Wonderland, even though I never saw it, and the Tim Burton version.

I do not own Alice in Wonderland nor Alice is Dead.
I do own the poem.
